I would like to introduce myself as a Bilingual Translator with over 2 decades of expertise in translating complex documents in English into Sinhala and vice versa. During my professional journey, as a translator, I have leveraged a strong knowledge and application of grammar, sentence construction, tense and vocabulary to deliver accurately translated content.

I am competent at planning and implementing innovative & effective writing techniques together with incorporating terminology and information suitable for translations purposes. I have acquired entrepreneurial experience in facilitating effective communication between two parties that do not speak a similar language (Sinhala).

Over the years, I have worked across IT, Legal, Religion, Journalism, and Healthcare domains and provided strict renditions of messages including every detail of the conversation, while staying prepared for challenging calls at any time. I am deft at conveying a company’s messages to external audiences, corporate communicators, business partners, media & various agencies with a focus to sustain the company’s brand position at competitive marketplace.
